So much of yesterday was spent working on the Kitchen for Monica's Spring Clean Challenge. Can I just tell you, the kitchen looks stunning! It took a lot of work to get it that way, though. I had to:
Move all appliances and clean the counter (including the toaster oven)
Clean the appliances, inside and out
Clean and polish the windowsill and window
Clean stovetop and dishwasher
Pull out all pots and pans, stored appliances, etc, clean the cupboards inside and out (ick!)
Organize pots and pans using new organizing tools (Hurrah Dollar Tree!!)
Put away all recipe books, magazines, and cards
Clean out and throw away old spices
Clean sink, wipe with oil
Clean fridge, inside and out
Clean end tables and reorganize
Sweep and wash floors
I did so much more than that, since I set aside 3 days to clean, but really my mind is such a blur, I can’t think of it. Genius me, I did a “before,” “after,” and “during” picture, but I managed to delete all of them off my camera. Wait, my camera wasn’t working for awhile, so I’ll say that my camera had a glitch and all the pictures were deleted. Yeah, that’s it. LOL!
Anyway, I retook the “after” pictures for us all to delight in my immaculate kitchen. I love how my end-table looks with my recipe book and my box of cards. :)

It's the 'after' picture that counts the most anyway, right? Wow, you have a beautiful kitchen! I love the idea of a half-circle table against an island. I'd do that...if I had an island in my kitchen,LOL!
